Back from Burning Man
I'm finally back from Black Rock City, Nevada and I have to say I've never had a better or more jam-packed filled week of wonderful music and fun, kind, warm people. Shoutouts to Disorient and the Space Pirates for doing what they do best. Shoutouts to everyone that came along for the wild ride on the DEX during my 8 hour set and those who ventured deep underwater on the Nautilus during my other 8 hour set the night of the man burn. The Nautilus crew was fantastic and so very hospitable as well. The Art Car Wash came out amazing and for those of you to whom I'm just speaking chinese, you MUST get yourself to Burning Man next year and then you'll understand. Much love!!
Burning Man, 2 days!
I'll be leaving to Black Rock City, Nevada very soon as I make my annual pilgrimage to the Burning Man festival. This marks my third year making the trek and I am pumped to be bringing my tunes out to play. The energy in that desert around this time every year is just incredible. I've been blown away and inspired by the magnitude of creative and positive individuals that are so common on the playa. I'll be heading out early this year to help setup the camp (Disorient) that I'll be staying with. We'll be at 2:15 and Esplanade so swing by and say hi, and maybe shake your moneymakaaa during a set at the Art Car Wash ... it's going to be a good time ;)

As an emerging producer and dj, Subsector has dived into the electronic music scene with a knock-out punch start. With a mesmerizing remix of Snoop Dogg and Kid CuDi's That Tree, reaching the Twitter Top 20 music charts and The Hype Machine's Top 15 music charts (March 2010), publicity has skyrocketed recognition of the Subsector sound. Since 2008, Subsector's dubbed out music has been busy at work making waves in headphones, dancefloors and chillout rooms all over the world. As a touring DJ, Subsector has played at festivals including, Vermont's Manifestivus, Black Rock City, Nevada's Burning Man and Playa Del Fuego. Subsector's promising talent has drawn comparisons to veterans of the electronic music scene including Bassnectar and Thievery Corporation. Despite these comparisons, the Subsector sound is distinct in its own right, unique and evolving. Subsector's gritty, evocative productions coupled with his live sets comprised of the best tracks electronic music has to offer, has garnered him a reputation for bringing good vibes, great grooves and an undeniable fresh flavor to the dancefloor. Subsector is currently working full time in the studio remixing and creating original tracks for his upcoming debut album on Rewind Worthy.
